Our students have Spanish instruction two periods a week. Children in the primary grades learn the spanish words for colors, numbers and days of a week. In addition, they work their way through the alphabet, and describe the seasons in Spanish as they come.
In the upper elementary years, the students are introduced to Spanish culture. While researching different spanish speaking countries, they expand their vocabulary as they discuss traditions, food and clothing.
For our middle school students, the focus is on writing and proper grammar. Students learn to share emotions and speak common phrases, preparing them to have skills to communicate in a foreign country.
