The Religion Curriculum for St. John the Apostle middle school begins with exploring the Old Testament, moves on to studying the life and teachings of Jesus, and culminates with delving into the history of the Church. Our goal is to teach students the rudiments of our faith while always striving to make it relevant to their lives. We regularly read from Scripture, becoming active participants through reenactments, puppet shows, creating children’s books, and using technology. Our needs are shared on a prayer intention wall and develop a classroom community based on respect and compassion. Our goal is to develop well-informed and mindful young adults who understand their faith and their own roles in transforming the world through their actions.
