The Language Arts curriculum in grades four and five is divided into three areas:  written communication, grammar, and oral communication.  Language Arts is a daily class taught by the homeroom teacher. Focus is placed on writing personal narratives, persuasive essays, and a research project.  Students present their work to their peers.
