The Kindness Club at Saint John the Apostle School was created several years ago by a student with the idea that spreading kindness and "paying it forward" is essential to the development of the human spirit. The Kindness Club meets once per month creating and developing messages and crafts that depict the spreading of kindness in various ways. In the past, the club has made and distributed Christmas stockings to the pediatric children's ward at St. Peter's Hospital, painted uplifting messages on stones that were distributed to staff and students during Covid, provide welcome letters to new students at Saint John's, in addition to planting "Seeds of Kindness" in the Spring to share the earth's bounty with others. The Kindness Club typically has a waiting list to attend as students also receive service hours for their participation.
This club meets once a month on Tuesdays. See the club calendar under "Parent Tools" for more details.
