In third grade, students expand their vocabulary and develop their writing skills. At this age, it is critical that children's natural love of learning and curiosity about the world be nurtured to set the right foundation for the rest of their formal education.
Third graders are always excited to visit our Science and Math labs and participate in hands-on activities. We attend mass weekly and lead religious events such as First Friday Masses, Living Rosary, and both Advent and Stations of the Cross services.
Here at SJA we foster a love of learning along with a love of neighboring and respect for others. We participate in social-emotional learning activities to practice skills of compassion, empathy, friendship, teamwork, respect, and kindness.
