Protecting God's Children
According to the guidelines for the Archdiocese's program "Protecting God's Children": "All volunteers who chaperone groups of minors on overnight or day trips, regardless of the type of activity involved," will need a background check (National Criminal and Sexual Offenders Search) and to attend a "Proctecting God's Children" workshop.

If you wish to be considered as a chaperone for a class trip, please request the background check paperwork from the school office. Please check the Archdiocese's web site (www.rcan.org) for local workshops

Record Keeping
We are using an automated telephone system to notify you of school closings, delayed openings and other importants messages. If you have moved or changed your phone number or any other information that we need to keep our records up to date, PLEASE notify the school office. We can only notify you if we have all the latest information. Also PLEASE notify the rectory with this information. We only maintain the school/student records. The rectory maintains the parish information.

Student Security
In order to provide further security for all our students, parents/guardians are not permitted to come upstairs without the permission from the office. If you feel your child has items that you think are too heavy for them to carry up to their classroom, please leave it in the office and the student will be permitted to come and take the contents in small, manageable amounts to their rooms.
If you are waiting for your child after school (with the exception of After Care), please wait for them in the parking lot, NOT in the school.

Thank you for your help in our efforts to provide a more secure school for all of the students.

Uniforms
Please have your child dressed in the proper school uiform. The requirements are in the Parent Handbook (available online) that all families have received. Earrings, nail polish, jewerly, shirts, shoes, socks, etc. are all detailed.

Students may not wear jackets, fleece or sweats, during school in class. they may wear only the uniform sweater.
